Kaju Katli

Kaju Katli is a favourite sweet dish for all joyous occassions

Ingredients

2 cup of cashews
1/2 cup of water
1 cup sugar
warq or silver foil sheet for decoration (optional)

Directions

Grind cashews to a fine powder . Do not add any water while grinding. Keep aside.
Take sugar in a pan and add water.
Heat the sugar and water until it comes to a roaring boil.
Stir in the cashew powder, ensure there are no lumps, keep stirring, until the mixture becomes thick
Transfer the contents to a greased board and roll it out with a rolling pin until 1/4 inch thick.
If available spread the silver foil over the rolled kaju katli
Cut into diamond shaped pieces.
Cool before serving , enjoy!!
