Recipes - Chatpata Snacks

Pani Puri
Pani Puri is an all time favorite chatpata snack.
Ingredients
For PaniA bunch of Pudina (Mint Leaves)
1 big Raw Mango
5 Green Chillies
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Salt
Roasted Cumin Powder
For Meetha Chutney
A Handful of Tamarind
1 full cup of Jaggery
Around 12- 15 Pitted Dates
Black Salt
For Stuffing
2 big Potatoes
A cup of Moong
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Directions
For PaniWash the Mint leaves.
Boil the Raw Mango in a Pressure Cooker for 2 Whistles.
Peel the skin and remove the seed.
Add the Mint leaves, raw mango, salt, black salt, green chillies.
Crush it nicely till it becomes a nice paste.
Strain it with a strainer.
Now add around 3-4 cups of water to the paste.
Stir it nicely and add the roasted cumin powder.
For Meetha Chutney
Soak tamarind for 15-20 minutes.
Now take the tamarind along with the water in which you soaked it in a deep vessel.
Add the dates and the jaggery and let it boil for 10 minutes.
When it becomes cool, crush the entire thing in a mixer.
Strain it nicely.
Now add ½ tsp of black salt to it and mix it well.
For Stuffing
Soak the moong for at least 6 hour and boil it.
Boil the potatoes.
Cut the potaoes into very small pieces.
Take the potatoes and moong together.
Sprinkle red chilli powder and salt and mix it well.
Garnish it with Coriander leaves.
