Set Dosa
Set dosa is a soft mini variety of dosa served in Mangalorean restaurants. These dosas are smaller than the regular dosas and they are served with vegetable curry or coconut chutney.
Ingredients
2 Cups sonamasori rice or any other plain rice1 tsp methi seeds(Fenugreek seeds)
1 Cup yogurt
1 Cup thin poha
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Directions
Soak the rice and fenugreek seeds in water for 2 hours.Clean the poha and moisten it with a little water.
Grind the rice and methi seeds with poha and salt into a very soft thick batter.
Keep the batter for fermentation in a warm place for 8 to 12 hours.
Mix the yogurt with the batter.
In a pan add a little oil. Then pour a little batter on the pan
The batter should be thick enough so that when it is poured in the pan it forms a small circle rather than spreading all over.
Cook both the sides until it is cooked.
Serve warm with coconut chutney or vegetable curry.
